Q:
Why Professional wedding videography?
A:
Professional wedding videography preserves all the memories of your
big day. Sights, sounds, feelings. You’ll remember the way
you and your husband looked and sounded on your wedding day…forever.
The difference between professional and amateur videography is dramatic.
It pays to hire a professional wedding videographer. Call today
to arrange a preview of our work without obligation.
Q: Who
will be the videographer at my wedding?
A:
You can rest assured that your wedding video will be personally
planned, shot, edited, and produced by the company's owner, Vlad
Yakobchuk. We don't send out hired contractors or cameramen who
don't know anything about you. We pride ourselves on this 'personalized'
approach to wedding videography.
Q: Do
you attend rehearsal?
A:
Whenever possible, we will attend rehearsal to plan placement of our
equipment to best capture your wedding ceremony. Every wedding is
a unique event.
Q: Why
DVD?
A:
A DVD can store video at a quality much higher than VHS tape. If
properly stored and maintained, a DVD can have a shelf life of up
to 100 years, whereas VHS tape degrades with time and usage. DVD
is a standard that will be with us for years to come, whereas VHS
will soon be obsolete.
Q: Do you
use professional equipment?
A: Yes.
We use 3 chip digital video cameras, UHF wireless microphones, and
the latest non-linear digital editing equipment.
Q: Why
use a wireless microphone?
A:
Vows can be heard clearly when the groom wears a microphone. Using
a wireless microphone is discreet and vastly increases the audio
quality.
Q: Why
we use two cameras on all of our weddings?
A:
Two cameras provide more footage and camera angles for a video that
shows the ceremony from the audience's perspective as well. By adding
more angles, an Editor has more shot selection in the editing room,
thus giving your video a more polished look.
Q: What
kind of music do you use in your videos?
A:
This is entirely up to you. Music sets the mood and tone for your
entire video. We give every bride and groom the opportunity to choose
their own music. If you can't decide what music you want to use,
we have a list of songs you can choose from our own library of CD's.
Q: How
long will it take to finish the video?
A:
Typically videos take between 1-2 months during
peak season (June - August). We would rather spend the more time
making sure your video is "perfect", than rush through
the editing process. We can assure you it will be worth the wait.
